I know it had to do with signing a recording contract in a plane - something to do with signing the contract at the highest elevation etc....etc.....

The Record Were
"recorded a track in most high altitude aboard in a Plane"
if i'm not wrong was a track from an album in the 80's ....maybe Blackout,
tomorrow i'll try to search the source that i'm not wrong was an old metal magazine from 80's years.

The interesting thing about the Guiness Book of World Records is that it was originally created by the Brewery/Ale company to settle bar fights/fights in pubs. This way there would be an official source for everyone to look at and agree upon.
