I find it impossible for the greek promoter to book the concert in August,because everybody's or on vacation,or at the beach!!!!

Money money money money,always money??? You are at end of your wonderful career...is it problem earn less now??? Dear Rudolf,if you are where you are it's because of us! But maybe you forgot that!

I am afraid I must agree. This is a great band that used to play anywhere, anytime, for anyone in the world. How many songs have the Scorpions written about that very topic? Does money really matter that much??? The band has made a VERY good living over the years and rightfully so cuz they EARNED it. But this? I am sorry to hear there won't be a tour in North America in 2013...somehow I feel I saw them for the last time in Cleveland and Pittsburgh in 2010.

1985 - special guest to Deep Purple on the Knebworth show
1986 - 2nd on the bill to Ozzy Osbourne on the Monsters of Rock at Donnington.
2005 - special guest to Judas Priest

very few headline shows in the UK from 1993-2013...

The Scorpions need to face the facts that they are not a popular band in the UK and that playing at the Download festival even at the second stage would be a good thing for their reputation in the UK. But making the statement that download did not offer them enough money and that their stage gear would not fit on stage 2 makes them look so bad in 2013. I know there are some real die-hard Scorpions fans in the UK and if i was one of them i would think twice about ever purchasing anything of the Scorpions in the future. No fan wants to hear that a band will only play their country if the money is right...

Scorpions forget about the money and do it for the fans..Remember they were the ones who paid for the big houses you live in and the expensive sports cars you drive around Germany.

they are finishing up the new studio CD of material from the 1980's..I expect them to go back on tour in 2014. Expect a show here and there this summer in Europe.

just for respect to their own history, their own history in the UK, which as we've seen is quite big; and more important respect to the fans who have been there this years, they must go to the UK, if 7 years ago they had no problem to go as an opening band, c'mon do that again!
I still have some hopes they'll go there...same with Japan and Australia, they must go!
