Well as usual the fans have better information on history then they allow Wolfgang to update ,, You cant even see the 2004 to present info :(
So maybe after all those dates in England .. maybe their bored with Fish and Chips for supper :)
They probably wont eat French fries for several years now 8-)

You forgot the Royal Albert Hall show woth Priest and Gillan 31/03/2006.
It's a pitty for the band to ignore countries like UK and Italy...maybe they should change a little bit their priorities,in life...

Yes Antonis, they played a town called Bolton, where I live...can't believe bands ever played there...even saw Madonna play there on a warm up to her first ever tour, the place was empty nobody knew who she was lol!

diego18 wrote:You're right catnip_uk. I add here some dates from the old days (all the credit to find them is to Chris, scorcollector)

Cheers diego....I think I'll update the list when I get the time!

Yes Kristof, between Hammersmith and Manchester Apollo they played there a lot...both venues are very similar and were designed by the same person and the acoustics of both venues are very excellent....Seems a long time ago since I saw them there :( I remember when they supported Judas Priest...when Priest came on stage half the place was empty!, they were :hand:

Since they stopped playing the UK I've had to travel to Munich and Lille a few times.

Just like i said the band the last 20 years have ignored the UK and it's wrong. The band has some real loyal fans in that country and should go back and play for them..

Word from James is that they have turned down around 30 dates so far so they can just rest....BUT he says that they may be hitting Greece in July. I am happy for my Greek friends and esp my Greek BGRW girls who may have grown older in this last 3 years, but they still are the BGRW and love the boys!!

Maybe MJ will give them a treat again like he did last time  :P and Klaus again send out so much love and kisses to them. BUT now that they are turning down so many dates, they are not making money....does that mean no Australia, since it costs so much to send equipment and such? Let's hope not!!

NOTE: A video from Matthias in January on DW TV, he says that he wants a long vacation. Well he sure got it. :P Have fun guys, let's hope you all are resting and living life.

ANOTHER NOTE: Someone who messaged me yesterday was at MJ Guitars for the 5th Anniversary and she said that Matthias was a different man than any other times she has seen him. More happy and relaxed. That sounds great. Good grief, the Scorps 2 have been going strong for almost 40 years; MJ for almost 35!! That's a long ass time peeps. Be glad and feel fortunate that they have blessed us with their amazing talent and longevity for this long. I know I am honored that I got the chance to see them and enjoy their music for this long when I thought in 2007, when I rediscovered them, that they had stopped long ago. So I feel lucky and yes blessed for that time and if it's over, then it's over with me being happy. :D  Bittersweet!

The band will come back in 2014 for a full schedule of touring. They need to take 2013 off so they can recharge the batteries for 2014..

I can see them coming back in 2014. This is going to be a culture shock to them, not touring steadily. Right now they are doing private shows here and there, but they are soon going to feel the STING of not being in front of an audience of screamin crazy rockers with beautiful ladies in front. :P

I told MJ one time that when they retired, he and Klaus and Rudolf will start doing weird things and call each other on the phone screaming that they have to get back on the road. I feel Klaus needs the most break tho. I am concerned about him the most. :?

Yeah the Russian dates are for Rockstar...... I just saw where it was tweeted on Twitter that it's Scorpions and I had to reply and say it was for the band James is playing with. BUT, Scorps ARE doing private Russian shows, just not ones the fans can afford. just sayin.... :D
