My review,
I wanna tell you a story, …‘Bout a band I know,…When it comes to rocking’ …Oh they steals the show… so here is my review,…
Finally found some time to write my review, after almost 1 month….It’s almost hard to believe there’s already passed one month. We ‘re looking already so long for this show,…normally it should be the last one of the year ,if the postponed one of Munchen didn’t took place 2 days later,…The only thing I was worried was the weather conditions,…remembering Dormund 2 years ago,…if there are winter conditions you need winter tires ,and we didn’t got it,…so we decided to sleep over,…When my wife heard there’s the biggest shopping center just across the venue, the “Centro “,she was extra excited to go there ,…so we left early in the morning,…after a trip of 3 hours we reached the shopping center, there was already queuing up to enter the parking,…we just parked the car ,and already got a text message that Ron arrived as well ,…when we visited to outside part of the mall ,on the Christmas market ,we found Ron ,and some Belgian friends;…Ron showed immediately his new flag and it was already signed again ,…we look then first to look for something to eat inside again, we found some delicious Chinese food ,…we booked a hotel a while before,…but just the day before, the hotel called that they didn’t had any room anymore ,…there was construction busy , and they got water and heating problems in some rooms,…but the made a booking for another hotel,…but just on the last moment during our lunch, we decided to cancel the whole thing,…we drive to the first hotel ,ask if they could cancel the second one, and if we could use a computer to make a reservation by ourselves,…we booked a hotel in Essen, where we had some great memories from it , …we drove to Essen,…check in ,wait still some while until they saw we just made a reservation, and left immediately back to Oberhausen, when we’re reached back around the venue ,there was so much traffic jam,…we spend over 1 hour 30 driving around there to get parking,…I really started to get nervous,… we found finally a place somewhere on the street not really so away from the venue,…and we walked the last part,…when we arrived on the venue ,there was already so much people, we have to line up in a very long row,…I send another text message to Ron to keep place for us,…they were already inside,…just a while before we could enter ,we saw Marina entering the building,…Once we inside we look for Ron,…Lucky enough there was still some place on the second row,…we saw Adriano ,Curry and Marina standing ,just in front of Ron,…A little bit later Wolfgang Dziony showed up, we talked a little, … he was telling James wasn’t drunk ,…maybe after the show ,…the support act was ok,…even we didn’t got fishsticks! ...Peter Amend arrived in front and just a lttle bit later finally the Scorpions, they all in a great condition and they enjoyed the concert,…even Ron was in great condition ,…he even moved faster from left to right than Kim Klijsters ,…the best moment of the show was the special song dedicated to us, …We Burn The Sky,…again an emotional moment ,just like in Brussels ,…My wife still got a plectrum of Matthias,…On the encores I was reaching the picture of the cover of Scorpions album Live 2011 to Klaus,…he took it and signed it ! ...when he saw it was for me,,…he did recognize me ,…after the show we hurried us to the site in front, Wolfgang should be there waiting,…we had a bottle of Scots in the car ,and try to find a way ,to give it,…since the car was a little far,…he should wait on the backstage entrance,…still after a drink and meeting Enya ,we left for the car,…Sorry Enya for not seeing you anymore later,…but suddenly we found out where the hotel of the band was, and we're totally on the back side ot the building,...…we drove to the backstage ,Wolfgang was already waiting there,…just a moment later Pawel and James were leaving the venue, in the same car,…Pawel was still looking, James not ,he was sitting next to the driver,…And we drove to hotel ,rocking in the night,…with in my car an international accompany, Adriano ,…Curry and her boyfriend,…Adriano was still telling the story about Bielefield,…with Hans car,…

My Review part 2,

After finally finding the location of the hotel and finding even parking was more difficult , we went to the hotel. I still took the guitar for Rudolf, …a few years ago I made a guitar in Oak for Matthias,…I gave it to him at MJ Guitars 2 years ago,…so I deceided to make one for Rudolf as well,…but it is difficult to catch him ,…and taking it inside a concert building is also not possible,…the security won’t let me take it inside ,…I already tried to contact some people for help,…bu no good luck,…And I was thinking,maybe its better to get inside if I take that “gift”,…Michael Gerkhe was standing outside in front.Peter Amend was having late dinner at the Restaurant,Matthias as well,...we could go inside…After a while James was passing,…and told us to wait ,…he should come again,…and he came again,…spend some time with us,…he was funny,…pictures and autographs,…he was surprised that aI had the Kottack album,…he told “I’m killing my band”, …when he turnt to the picture on the backside of the cover,…finally Rudolf was coming,it seemed that he knewn already something of the guitar,…when I hand it over,…he told is it really for me,…sure it was,he just was thinking he has to sign it,……he was still asking from where I’m,…and still took pictures with the albums of Blackout and Love At First Sting,…I could take a picture of my wife as well standing next to Rudolf,…we still waited for Matthias ,but he has the whole time conversation with Peter Amend,…After a few hours there, we didn’t wait any longer ,and left back to Oberhausen,…dropping our vips in front of their hotels, …and drive back to Essen,I guess its almost 4 am when we could sleep,…the next morning we went back to the shopping mall,but the shops only open in the afternoon,…so we drove back to Dusseldorf,…we parked just in front of the hotel,…I went inside the lobby ,but no one to see,..but all the cars were ready,...we first walked around the city for almost one hour,and we returned,...Then Michael Gerhke was standing outsite,...I went inside the hotel and Rudolf was on the reception,...I still get an autograph of him, but I didn't took a picture,then Pawel and James arrived,...Pawel signed 2 albums,and James just walked around ,but I didn't disturbe him,also no pics of them,we had our time the evening before,...or should I say ,early morning,... ...Then Matthias was showed up, when he saw me , I went to him for a short talk,...I was asking if the will be next year an event at MJ Guitars,...he told there will be on itn March,...I was asking if he will do something special to celebrate the 5 years of MJ guitars,...he answered he's working on it,...
So ,I guess we must go there again,..he told also there will be some shows next year,...I still took a picture with him, he told Merry Christmas to me and told me" see you in Munich!"...I answered ,not Tomorrow ... He aswered ,I know and he went to the car,... i didn't ask any signatures, all the albums are already signed by him,even I still have some Vinyl and books,...at last Klaus showed up,I talked him for the show,and told him that I was hoping to see more shows,...he was answering we're slowing down,he signed still 2 albums ,I didn't took a picture of him ,because he looks tired,...We went back to the car,while the cars were passing behind us,...the first streets of Dusseldorf we just behind the cars of Scorpions,even suddenly next to us,...but then we took another direction back to Belgium ! ....It was again a great weekend,...just wants to say, I never was thinking during the show that it was my last one,...

I meant to only take a quick look at the forum, and then I saw all of your reviews on this topic and I couldn't stop reading them, and watching the videos that Ron posted. Thanks so much for all of the reviews.....I enjoyed each and every one of them! After reading the reviews, and then watching the videos - especially "We'll Burn the Sky" - I couldn't believe the emotion that I felt welling up inside of me! When I saw the Scorpions this summer, I didn't allow myslef to feel like it was the last time I'd see them, but as the months have passed, I've slowly come to accept that it may have been. But after seeing these videos and reading your reviews, it made me realize what a huge part of my life will be ending when the touring stops, and now I have such a yearning to see them live again! I'm so glad that you were all able to experience this together. I may not have a chance to see them again if they don't hit the US again, but I hope that you all are able to go to as many shows as possible in 2013! (And next time you run into them, give them a hint that I NEED to see them again in the States!)

I haven't even gotten to all of the Munich reviews yet.....if Oberhausen affected me so much, I'll need to prepare myself for the Munich reviews!

P.S. The fishsticks thing cracked me up.

oh! finally I had time to read part II - thank you Kristof!!! I enjoyed it, being there virtually and at the same time rememberring the good times I had in Munich.. agh.. I wish I could also keep this fos meeting tradition ( coz I'm sure there will be another great fos meeting this year!!) but Munich was my last scorps trip abroad - that's what I know for sure . So, I'll see them somewhere away from my home city only if it's a coincidence. I'm sorry to say that, but I'm surely won't be able to go somewhere specially for the show any more....and this fact is just killing me, taking into account that where won't be such "massive" tours anymore...
Still I hope for the best and hope to see the guys again and again

@ Curry!! hey! I'm happy for you, sis, and.. I really want to know the name of this "Island without name" !!! ( Tenerife? Cuba? Dominicana? Jamaica? Maldives? Bali? Sri Lanka?..gosh this list can be endless pls tell me!!!! - so that I could fully envy you
